The sixth Central European Dutch Studies DoHa colloquium took place in March 2018 in Karolinum, Prague. The event was hosted by the Department of Dutch Studies in cooperation with the Dutch Language Union, Charles University, the Comenius society, the Dutch embassy and Flemish representation in Prague.
Professor Ludo Beheydt from the Catholic University of Leuven opened the colloquium with a lecture titled European Influence of Dutch and Flemish Art: Cultural Mobility. Thirty-five guest lecturers from Dutch Studies departments in Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, France, Germany and the Czech Republic then introduced their respective research topics focusing on linguistics, literature, and culture. The colloquium was accompanied by receptions at the embassies of the Belgian and Dutch kingdoms in Prague.
