Mgr. Iveta Coufalová

Profile

Mgr. Iveta Coufalová studied history and Dutch studies at the Faculty of Arts of the Charles University in Prague. She defended her Master thesis at the Institute of Global History and has studied a post gradual programme at the Department of History of the Faculty of Arts, Palackého University in Olomouc since 2013. She’s currently finishing her dissertation concerning monarchs and faith – conversion of Augustus II the Strong and the reconversion of the House of Wettin at the beginning of the 18th century. She’s also the co-investigator of the project “Formation of a Convert. A linguistic and visual representation of conversion in the Modern period.” Since 2012, she is the editor-in-chief of the magazine Dějiny a současnost to which she has contributed since 2003.
